- Angela is a Donor Relations Manager for the Metro United Way, responsible for campaigns and creation of non-traditional sources of revenue including foundation relations, internet giving and anything else cool you create and make happen. Angela also serves as the Vice President of Community for YPAL (Young Professionals Association of Louisville) overseeing the areas of Public Issues, Community Outreach and Diversity. She is the past Executive Director of the Colon Cancer Prevention Project, where she led the way in public media-outreach to increase colon-cancer screenings in Louisville and Lexington. In 2008, Angela organized advocacy to pass HB 415, The Colon Cancer Screening Act. Most recently Angela brought funding to the state from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the Kentucky Dialogue for Action. She is a 2008 Kentucky Public Health Leadership Institute Fellow. A graduate of the University of Louisville, Angela holds a bachelor's degree in Arts in Anthropology and a master's degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Non-profit Management.
